EXPERIMENTAL IPA NO. 4

Being from hop country, we’re usually first in line to try new experimental hop varieties. We’re excited to introduce this experimental IPA, made in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops, which features HBC 630 and HBC 586, two experimental hops from hop breeders Yakima Chief Ranches and the Hop Breeding Company. These hops are top contenders in the running for a place in hop history and in brew tanks all over the world. This exclusive juicy IPA is a peek into the decade-long breeding process which brings new hops from a single plant to a named commercial release.

Availability: Limited Release launched in August 2021.

It was selected for its moderately high alpha, low co-humulone and distinct aroma. The best way to describe HBC 630 is fruity. It presents with flavor and aroma that have been described as cherry and raspberry candy-like with pronounced tropical notes.
